Critical Time Intervention Training

Critical Time Intervention (CTI) is a focused, time-limited case management model intended to connect people with mainstream resources as they transition from homelessness or institutional settings (e.g., prisons, hospitals) into housing. The principle goal of CTI and is to prevent recidivism and other adverse outcomes upon return to community living. Subsequently, this training will inform mental health boards and housing/homeless program providers about CTI, implementing the model, stabilization of homeless persons back into the community and use of stages of change & motivational interviewing to intervene.
